Shein at Ultra Music Festival
Creating Ultra Brand Engagement for Shein Australia
THE CHALLENGE
DisplayWise was approached by the Finders Keepers Group to conceptualise and produce custom-built elements inside an outdoor dome structure at Australia’s iconic Ultra Music Festival.
The goal was to design a visually striking space that embodied SHEIN’s modern, bold aesthetics while also serving as a functional showroom for key collections, festival styles and the SHEGLAM makeup range.
The activation needed to stand out and be functional from day to night with minimal external lighting, drawing in attendees and amplifying social media engagement for the ultimate SHEIN experience.

THE SOLUTION
Designed to captivate, the activation would fuse creativity with functionality, offering fashion-forward space that highlighted the best of SHEIN’s collections and provided an interactive platform for festival attendees. DisplayWise worked closely with Finders Keepers Group to turn their concept into reality from day to night within the experiential festival environment. Our team chose ambient lighting throughout the space integrated within the makeup and product displays whilst ensuring visibility during the evening. The vibrant neon hues, combined with Ultra Music Festival’s signature purple colour scheme, created a dreamy atmosphere that perfectly matched the festival’s high-energy and euphoric environment.
As attendees entered the SHEIN dome, guests were welcomed with a display of mannequins dressed in SHEIN’s chic style with a festival-ready vibe, instantly making an immediate impact with the audience. At the heart of the activation, the 360° Glam Cam took center stage, seamlessly blending digital engagement with physical experience. Attendees could capture festival moments in style with bespoke pink banquet seating encircling the space with product displays close by to encourage social media sharing.

KEY DESIGN AND BUILD HIGHLIGHTS
SHEGLAM Makeup Stations
A series of six custom mirrored makeup stations, collectively dubbed the “GlamStation,” allowed attendees to trial the SHEGLAM range. This hands-on area offered a fun and interactive beauty experience, further deepening SHEIN’s connection with its audience. The bright pastel pinks and mauves used throughout the graphics and paint textures added to the dreamy atmosphere.

Custom Reception & Sales Counters
Two prominent walls within the Dome were dedicated to showcasing the SHEGLAM makeup products and the latest SHEIN collections. A stunning backlit paparazzi wall created the perfect backdrop for Instagram moments, encouraging festival-goers to share their experience online, thereby increasing the activation’s social media visibility.
