The global business events community gathered in Melbourne for the 33rd edition of AIME Asia Pacific — the leading meetings and incentives event in the Asia Pacific region. With exhibitors from 36 countries and territories and representation from across Australia, AIME 2026 once again set the benchmark for connection, innovation, and industry growth.
AIME 2026, was the the first time, DisplayWise in collaboration with sister company Creative Hire brought together our shared expertise into one pavilionised space. Conceptualised as a hybrid custom stand, this pavilion style combined elevated features such as custom timber joinery with the modularity and reusability benefits of a system build to showcase our group capability and capacity to produce custom exhibitions, live events and creative activations at scale.
Anne Evers, Chief of Sales – DisplayWise, commented on the event this year, reinforcing AIME’s position as the leading business events trade show in the Asia Pacific region.
“The AIME Conference provided a strong platform for engaging with clients and gaining insight into emerging trends within the business events industry. With attendees prepared for business and open to meaningful conversations, the event fostered a highly organised environment that created genuine new opportunities.”

At the welcome event, DisplayWise delivered an engaging Selfie Tunnel activation, hosting the Phototainment and FT Events Glambot experience. Featuring customisable RGB lighting and a striking ombré graphic backdrop, the red carpet-style setup invited guests to step in, strike a pose, and capture a bold, memorable moment.”
Tobias Jacobsen, Senior Account Manager, also commented on his experience attending AIME for the first time with the team,
“AIME 2026 provided an excellent platform to connect with the wider business events industry. It offered a valuable opportunity to reconnect with existing clients, engage with new prospects face-to-face, and gain key insights into emerging trends across the Australian market.”

Where Big Builds Meet Bold Ideas
This pavilion style was conceptualised as a hybrid custom stand, combining the modularity and reusability benefits of a system build with elevated features such as custom timber joinery. Vibrant gradients and high-impact tones from the DisplayWise and Creative Hire brand colour palettes created an energetic, expressive environment that invited guests to step into boldness and experience the brands, collectively, firsthand.
The 2026 stand design concept explored the idea of where big builds meet bold ideas, with a shift from neutral to vibrant, and static to immersive. DisplayWise collborated with Creative Hire to ultilise their aluminium framing and demonstrate how this material can increase flexibility without compromising design impact.
“Bold Ideas” represents fearless thinking and design-led strategy that challenges convention and pushes creative boundaries. It reflects our commitment to innovation, immersive experiences, and fresh perspectives — developing concepts that capture attention, elevate brands, and create meaningful engagement.
“Big Builds” represents our capability, in collaboration with Creative Hire, to deliver large-scale, complex event and exhibition show builds precision, reliability, and design impact. This capacity to combine our high-quality manufacturing techniques and premium material selections with end-to-end delivery, all under one roof, offers marketing managers, brand teams, agencies and event managers a unique opportunity.”

Custom Stand Positioning
For DisplayWise and Creative Hire, this year’s event marked a defining moment — uniting our expertise within a single hybrid build pavilion stand. Our design was conceptualised to invite visitors to reimagine what’s possible for their next event or exhibition, showcasing our combined capabilities under the clear message: ‘Big Builds. Bold Ideas.’ This was our first time exhibiting together as co-partners, making the experience even more impactful.
Taylah Crome, Group Brand Manager, explained why it was significant for the brands to come together now and showcase together where the world meets;
“With strong brand growth and collaborations this past year, we’re more aligned than ever before to push forward and deliver beyond expectations for our clients. We’re passionate about pushing boundaries and being at the forefront of the latest trends, so our design concept came together quite easily when looking for inspiration. With the resurgence of colour blocking in 2026 to create bold, unique combinations, this choice was the perfect foundation.”
“Creative Hire’s magenta brand colour paired with DisplayWise’s raspberry red, was incredibly striking to create one cohesive look. Often mistaken for just using black and white, our talented team of Industrial Designers conceptualised a colourful monochrome gradient using different variations of brand shades, textures and finishes.”
“Paired with the dynamic visual animations on our next-gen LED wall, the result was a high contrast, minimalist and modern aesthetic that we’re predicting will see in more displays and design concepts this year”.
